This standardized system allows us to keep adequate control over the origin of each bag of coffee, its production , packaging, and storage. Processes that are validated through our international certifications.
Raw Material
Our finest selection of crops allows us to offer products of the highest quality for the national and international markets, managing to highlight the particularities of each product we offer.
Our Commitment
Since the late 1990s, AICASA has actively participated in programs for the development of coffee production. Our efforts, combined with those of other cooperations, have been able to produce results in reducing poverty in coffee-producing regions.
In order to continue contributing to the socioeconomic growth of the La Convención valley, we developed an area called Direct Assistance (AD). This area is designed to work hand in hand with producers to develop the best coffees in the region.
AD has various programs that allow synergy constructive collaboration in the different processes of the coffee production chain. We seek to be the strategic partners that coffee growers need, and find solutions and opportunities that benefit their quality of life and that of their families; under the criteria and/or principles of Organic, Fair Trade, and Rainforest Alliance certifications.
With this objective, the technicians of the area develop guidance and instruction with a focus on social responsibility and labor welfare, whose purpose is to improve the quality of coffee, its value in the market, and obtaining as a result an economic improvement for producers and their families.
Sustainability
As a regional development agent, AICASA cooperates with various local players such as coffee producing organizations, public entities, among others to improve regional coffee production. It promotes the effective utilization and maintenance of natural resources and the sustained improvement of the capacities of the producers, in the search for a common benefit for the local agents involved and thus contribute to the improvement of their living conditions.
Through the Direct Assistance (AD) area, we really get close to the producers and cooperate in their development through various programs that allow us to generate constructive collaboration in the processes of the coffee production chain. Our main objective is to really get closer to the producers and find solutions and opportunities that benefit their quality of life and that of their families.
Those in charge of the area make continuous visits to the producers and their crops to provide them with the technical advice they need and strengthen their skills, experience and willingness to work. In these field visits, the implementation of the practices and standards that govern the international certifications that accredit us are verified, seeking to optimize the quality of the products and improve the economy of the producers' homes.
What we do is be truly committed to the producers;to advise, complement and guide them.
